LEGACY PITCHING ACADEMY

This academy was designed by Alicia Mobley, who pitched in college and have instructed and coached numerous collegiate softball pitchers. Focus areas covered in the academies include body sequencing, internal rotation, spin direction, and weight transfer. Each class, your player will warm up with several drills that develop cardio, movement patterns, and flexibility. Coach Mobley will select drills that target the legs, shoulders, core, release-to-location, and velocity. We are excited to help your player get solid off-season work with us. Sessions in March-July will be 90 minutes long. Packed with great experiences both with technology and spin focus to help with throwing strikes and increasing and changing speeds.

PRIVATE TRAINING WITH Alicia mobley

Coach Mobley will advise the athlete on technique issues and body movement patterns that will increase the pitcher's success. Focus areas: velocity, location, spin and Pitcher IQ. It is advised that all of Alicia Mobley's students sign up for the Pitching Academies we offer at Legacy to best gain muscle memory. At the Academy - Strength and Endurance will be increased gradually to prepare best for season. Arm care and Softball IQ (understanding the hitter) is of high priority as an instructor.

PRIVATE TRAINING WITH ANISSA URTEZ

Anissa, a retired professional and Olympic softball player, provides personalized hitting instruction tailored to each athlete’s unique skill level and learning style. She meets players where they are, using specific feedback and terminology that resonate with the individual. While Anissa doesn’t believe in one single swing type, she emphasizes strong foundational mechanics, proper separation, and a mindset focused on getting 1% better each session. Every lesson is designed to ensure athletes leave with something new to work on and a clearer path toward progress.

Anissa will be back for private and small group training in Fall 2026. Stay tuned!
