Legacy Showcase Camp

The Legacy Showcase Camp is designed for high school softball players that want to be evaluated by and work directly with college coaches on the field. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming prospective student-athletes and want to showcase their skills. The camp will feature high level instruction from active college coaches, verbal evaluations and feedback provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process. The college coaches on site will instruct players and provide feedback on how to improve. The camp is open to all high school softball players and is restricted to small group sizes to allow for quality instruction. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.

Players will receive:

  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Feedback on Hitting, Throwing , Running, and Defense (by position).
  • Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches.
  • All campers will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.
Legacy Fastpitch Presents: Camp with Anissa Urtez & AJ Militello

This unique camp will focus on skill development, mental toughness, and most importantly—reigniting your love for the game!

Headliner: Anissa Urtez
Opportunities like this don’t come around often—Anissa Urtez is a current professional softball player with elite experience at every level of the game. From a standout collegiate career at the University of Utah to representing Team Mexico on the Olympic stage and competing in the Athletes Unlimited Pro League, Anissa has proven herself as a high-impact player on every field she steps on. Known for her slick glove at shortstop and clutch bat—she made history by hitting Mexico’s first-ever Olympic softball home run—Anissa brings unmatched skill, intensity, and authenticity. Her leadership, grit, and passion for the game make her a powerful presence and an inspiring role model for players of all ages.
Co-Lead: AJ Militello
AJ Militello is the Director of Legacy Fastpitch and Player Development at the Legacy Center and a former player at both Michigan State and the University of Utah. AJ was a team captain at both universities and brings that same drive to the athletes she now mentors. Before college, she played at Howell High School, earning All-State honors three times, being named an All-American, and setting the school’s home run record—earning a spot in the Howell Hall of Fame. Today, AJ leads Legacy Fastpitch with a mission to develop athletes who not only perform at a high level but develope young girls into women of character!
