About Field Hockey at Legacy:
We are excited to be part of growing the game of field hockey in Michigan. Working alongside Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey we are able to expand the sport to many more young athletes in Southeast Michigan. Our goal is to help new players learn the sport and continue to work on development with our experienced players. Field hockey at Legacy Center is a place to grow and be part of the team.
Field Hockey Programs:
We offer programming for kids as young as five up to adults of all ages. Programs include skill development in the off-season, beginner sessions, adult play, a team in the Ann Arbor rec league, and competitive training. Our coaches are well-versed in the sport, all with unique playing and coaching histories, from D1 to D3 college experience, USA coach training, and many years of experience. This wide range of coaches creates a remarkable learning and team environment, that we take pride in.
Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey:
Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey is a non-profit organization, established in 2019 to serve and support the growth of field hockey throughout the region. We look to develop sports programs and opportunities that foster values of trust, respect and determination. We work to ensure participants enjoy good physical and emotional health, while offering a united sense of community. We are happy to have partnered with Legacy Field Hockey to grow the sport at this venue. In addition to growing opportunities to play, GLRFH is committed to building a field for participants throughout the state and region. The field hockey field at Legacy Center will be the new home for field hockey growth in the state. We envision this field to be a place where young athletes are supported by a community who cares.
