L2 Volleyball Camps/Clinics/Training Levels

101

AGES: 4-10 years old or 1st-5th grade
LEVEL: No experience necessary. Rec and beginner level players.
TRAINING: Players will learn basic skill sets on passing, setting, serving and attacking.

JUNIOR

AGES: 4-14 years old or 4th-9th grade
LEVEL: 0-1 years club experience. Rec and beginner level players.
TRAINING: Players will learn basic skill sets on passing, setting, serving and attacking.

ADVANCED

AGES: 12-18 years old or 6th-12 grade
LEVEL: 1-3 years club experience. Regional/State level players.
TRAINING: Technical break down of specific positions at a faster pace and in depth breakdown.

ELITE

AGES: 12-18 years old or 6th-12 grade
LEVEL: Reserved for players on National level teams (L2 100s) *Prerequisite required*
TRAINING: Fast pace drills with maximum reps and high level training. Most training will be position specific to players.

The Academy

Academy is a fast-paced learning environment that focuses on training the skills of the game. Athletes will be pushed out of the comfort zone by trying new skills while ensuring proper technique. We use the different levels to ensure all players are growing in their skill work.

Academy Train & Play is a more structured format where you sign up for the full session. Each week builds on the last, and it’s a mix of training and competitive play—super helpful for staying sharp with game-like reps.

101/Juniors

Drop-In

These Drop-ins are great if you’re looking for something flexible—you can come to the dates that work for you. They’re $25 each and run for 1.5 hours, focusing on full-skill training that looks a lot like a normal club practice.

  • High school sessions run for 3 weeks to avoid any conflict with school seasons.
  • Middle school sessions run for 7 weeks and give a little more time to prep before a fall sport.

Sand Training

Join 181 Head Coach and lead trainer Shannon Billings for summer sand training! These sessions focus on defense, movement, balance, and building strength through digging, passing, serving, and attacking in the sand. Sand training boosts endurance, jump power, and protects joints with softer landings. Players will be separated by level, so any level player U12 and above is welcome to join! Classes will max at 20 athletes and cost $25/session.

This two day Pre-High School Tryout Camp will replicate drills and competition that you will see in your high school tryouts. Players will receive maximum reps and feedback from the coaching staff in order to better prepare you for your school tryouts!

This camp is great for players that are looking for something between little legends and rec sessions or are looking for more in-depth skills training. This camp will be coached by our national coaches for the U11 and U12 age group, Liz Bianco and Kristen Althouse.

Robin has coached at L2 for four years and is currently the Skyline High School varsity volleyball head coach. He enjoys teaching all fundamentals but especially ball control, movement, and hitting mechanics. Robin prefers to work with DS, pin hitters, and setters.

Kaitlyn Schoeppner

Kaitlyn coaches our girls National 152, Boys National 183 and is a lead trainer for L2. With a background in education, she enjoys helping athletes learn the why behind fundamentals and techniques. Her goal is that they not only further develop their skills but also develop a greater understanding of how to make changes on their own. She is comfortable coaching any and all skills, levels, and ages and hopes to see you in the gym soon!
