Legacy Center is currently seeking certified and highly motivated yoga instructors to take on classes in our brand new yoga facility. We are looking to fill our yoga studio with instructors who are outgoing, friendly, experienced, and want to help clients reach their fitness goals. Essential Job Duties:

  • Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide great client service
  • Genuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal level
  • Must be center certified and have experience teaching hot yoga
  • Maintain cleanliness of studio including cleaning up after classes and sanitizing equipment
  • 1+ years teaching experience and a 200 hour certification required
  • Be willing and available to teach a minimum of 6 classes per week
  • Have a strong desire to grow and the ability to take on and integrate feedback
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative class with a genuine interest in student success
  • Must have a flexible schedule with weekend and evening availability
  • Spinning and/or group class certification is a plus
  • Attend all fitness instructor meetings and training sessions
  • Determine the game line up and make changes as needed.
  • Instruct and facilitate pre- and post-game procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, game officials and the opposing teams.

We are looking to fill our classes with instructors who are outgoing, friendly, experienced, and want to help clients reach their fitness goals. The Legacy Center of Michigan is looking for experienced soccer players and coaches to join its recreational soccer coaching team! The Legacy Center currently offers two recreational soccer programs for kids ages 4-18.Coaches are expected to work select weekday evenings for practices (Tuesdays, Thursdays and occasional Fridays) and Saturdays or Sundays for games. Many of our coaches are current or former college soccer players that have a passion for soccer and coaching. Coaches must be comfortable and confident working with children ages 4-18yrs of age, and must display a high level of soccer knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills for both player, parent and internal coaching interactions.. Applicants should have good customer service, time management and problem solving skills as well. Training will be provided for all coaches.

  • Attend Legacy Center coach training course.
  • Conduct weekly practices that follow the provided curriculum.
  • Attend all team practices and games
  • Maintain knowledge of game, rules, and skills necessary for the sport.
  • Advise team in rules, game strategies, and performance principles.
  • Focus on the improvement of players and the team as a whole while keeping participation enjoyable.
  • Determine the game line up and make changes as needed.
  • Instruct and facilitate pre- and post-game procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, game officials and the opposing teams.
  • Maintain and return all Legacy Center issued equipment and keep the storage areas neat and organized.
  • Use the program to educate players on the virtues of discipline, time management, team work, and academic success.

Related Duties:

  • In cooperation with the Recreational Sports Coordinator, communicate with players and parents regarding schedules and changes to the schedule. Coaches are to be liaisons between the team and Recreational Sports Coordinator.
  • Elevate questions or concerns to the Recreational Sports Coordinator.
  • Occasionally officiate pre-k through 2nd grade games.
  • Follow policies and procedures as presented in the Legacy Center staff handbook.
  • Make sure facilities are left clean and organized after each use.
  • Assist with end of season meeting and/or re-cap as requested.
  • Preform player evaluations as needed.
  • Participate in occasional promotional events.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Michigan Driver’s License
  • Two (2) years coaching experience or significant college playing experience preferred
  • Availability to commit to the entire schedule
  • Knowledge of rules and skills of particular sport
  • Willingness to place emphasis on the Legends Rec Soccer Curriculum
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation

This job description outlines the objective, primary responsibilities and/or requirements and qualifications of the Marketing Intern.

Objective: The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of said marketing, business development, and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding current marketing strategies.

 Compensation: Unpaid with potential performance based commission.

Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Work closely with Sports Directors to develop and grow existing programs.
  • Manage and update identified marketing budget within each identified program.
  • Update and create marketing materials that meet organizations branding guidelines. (Flyers, emails, etc)
  • Identify new community prospects to develop strategic facility relationships.
  • Maintain and grow current facility partnerships.
  • Update basic SEO and user facing web content across all applicable platforms.
  • Assist in online marketing campaigns such as PPC and SEO efforts
  • Assisting in promotional development
  • Measure and track responses with current Marketing Campaigns
  • Other duties assigned
  • Recommend and build a presence on additional social media site(s)
  • Recommend and facilitate the creation/distribution of a new facility marketing aid

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or other applicable field

10u Legacy Select Travel Baseball is looking for a Paid Head Coach.

The Little Legends Soccer program is in search of highly qualified individuals to share their talents. Little Legends is a child development program based around the game of soccer. The Instructor will lead small groups of children (ages 18 months to 9 years old) through an age appropriate curriculum.

Details:

  • Flexible schedule! Coaches work 2-15 hours per week, based on your availability.
  • Classes are typically weekday evenings, and/or  Saturday mornings.
  • Training is provided.
  • Coaches receive a free fitness/gym membership and program discounts to the Legacy Center.

 

Coach Qualifications:

  • Qualified individuals must love working with children, be highly energetic, creative, animated and patient and have a passion for providing a stimulating learning environment that is exciting and fun for kids. The ability to be loud, a great storyteller, and lead a group of children in structured games is required.
  • Experience working with children under the age of 4 years old is highly recommended.
  • Ability to work 90% of the classes scheduled within a season is a must as coach commitment to the full session and weekly classes is key and critical to the program’s success.
  • Soccer experience is not required, but preferred.
